Ron started outfitting in Alberta for whitetails on the farm in 1981 introducing Darney into the business. The outfitting grew to include moose, wild buffalo and black bears which was a fly-in. In 2000, Darney partnered up with Ron to grow the outfitting business for trophy black bears. The camp was moved North of the La Loche and South of the Clearwater river on hwy 955 in Northern Saskatchewan.
Darney and Ron live year round in La Loche, Saskatchewan. Darney has taken over the management of the outfitting company from his father Ron Kisslinger. Ron continues to mentor Darney and frequently shares great stories with guests just as his father did before him.
Darney's passion for the hunt started with stories of his grandfather hunting with greyhounds back in 1910. Ron Kisslinger was chasing whitetails in 1961 and Darney had his first big game kill at just 13 years of age.

Hunting has been a large part of Kisslinger's history. Outffiing was a means of making a living while doing what we love and meeting and making lifetime friends who share our passion.
This Kisslinger personality and work ethic means that we are a hands on operation. Darney was raised, taught, and given the right tools to make this the BEST operation for TROPHY black bears. Our baiting program is second to none, the best in the world. Results have proven this year after year. Come for a hunt and let us prove it!
